Björn Bus values your privacy. This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit bjornbus.nl. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Who is responsible

This website is run by Björn Bus, conductor, based in the Netherlands. For questions about your data, use the contact form.

2. What we collect

Only what you give us yourself. If you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. Nothing else is asked and nothing is bought from third parties.

Your IP address is not stored with your message.

3. Why, and on what basis

  • To answer you. Your message is sent to Björn by email and kept in the website’s own inbox, so nothing gets lost. Basis: your request.
  • To understand which pages are read. Only with your permission, through Google Analytics. Basis: consent.
  • To keep the site working and safe. Basis: legitimate interest.

4. How long we keep it

Messages from the contact form are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically. Analytics data is retained by Google according to their own settings. Cookies expire as described in the Cookie Policy.

5. Who else sees it

Your message goes to Björn and to The Brand Men, who maintain this website. It is not sold, rented or traded. Beyond that, data is only shared with the providers that make this site work:

  • Mijndomein (Netherlands) — hosting and email.
  • Google Ireland Limited — Analytics and YouTube, only with your permission.
  • Spotify AB and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — only if you allow external media.

6. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to the administration is protected with a password and two-factor authentication. No system is ever completely secure, but we take the measures you may reasonably expect.

7. Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your permission at any time. Use the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
